As shown below in 20 frames of action showing the first strike and 4 return strokes, the step leaders which are clearly visible, precede the major return strokes, therefore with the naked eye only one strike is seen, yet within the frames in milliseconds there are 4 visible return strokes. This video footage plays incredibly in super slow motion.
My
favorite strike, (frame 55) shown below, is the 10th
return
stroke and it clearly shows the incredible amount of energy
sizzling
within the tree. Even the building in the background
radiates
due to the intensity of the strike.
I have recently designed 
for the public to really appreciate the beauty of this magnificent strike.

Other
